The Residences at Snow King FAQs

The Residences at Snow King offer spacious condominium accommodations in separate buildings adjacent to Trailborn Jackson Hole and within a short walk of Ember Lily Spa.

Accommodations include junior-suite-style Parlor Suites, one-bedroom residences and three-bedroom residences. Features vary by accommodation and may include full kitchens or kitchenettes, living and dining areas, in-unit washers and dryers, fireplaces, and private patios or decks.

Residence guests check in at the Trailborn Jackson Hole lobby and have access to included resort amenities.

The former Snow King Resort closed it's doors on March 18th, 2026 and is now Trailborn Jackson Hole, a modern chalet resort at the base of Snow King Mountain.

The condominium accommodations remain available as the Residences at Snow King.

Trailborn Jackson Hole is the adjacent resort at the base of Snow King Mountain. Residence guests have access to included resort amenities such as the year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub, fitness center, dining outlets and other guest experiences, subject to availability and operating hours.

Trailborn Jackson Hole offers a full-service resort experience with daily housekeeping, on-site dining and amenities, and select dog-friendly guest rooms.

The Residences at Snow King offer more space and residential conveniences, making them well suited for families, groups and longer stays. The Residences do not offer daily housekeeping, are not pet-friendly, require a two-night minimum stay and are subject to a one-time departure cleaning fee.

Grand View Spa is now Ember Lily Spa at Trailborn Jackson Hole, located a short walk from The Residences at Snow King. Spa appointments may be booked online or by contacting the spa directly. Please click here to make a booking.

Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., and checkout is at 11:00 a.m. Early check-in and late checkout may be requested but are subject to availability.

All Residence guests check in at the Front Desk in the Trailborn Jackson Hole lobby. The Front Desk is available 24 hours a day for late arrivals.

(Late Check Outs past 11AM without written confirmation are subject to penalties up to an additional full night's stay)

A deposit equal to two nights’ room rate and taxes is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

A failed or invalid credit card may result in cancellation of the reservation. Rate-specific and promotional deposit requirements shown in the reservation confirmation will apply.

Reservations must be canceled at least 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

Reservations booked under a prepaid or nonrefundable rate remain nonrefundable. Reservations made within a group block are subject to the cancellation terms stated in the group agreement. The cancellation policy shown in the reservation confirmation will apply.

The following taxes and assessments apply to guest reservations and taxable departure cleaning fees:

• Wyoming State Sales Tax and SPET: 7% of total lodging
• Teton County and Wyoming State Lodging Tax: 5% of total lodging
• Snow King Mountain Resort Association Development Fee: 1% of total lodging and taxable fees

A nightly $50 resort fee and a one-time departure cleaning fee also apply.

Every reservation at The Residences at Snow King is charged a daily resort fee of $50, plus applicable taxes, per accommodation, per night.

Your daily $50 resort fee includes one Trailborn Tote Bag per room, per stay; daily Après Hour for at least two guests; daily Shuttle Service for at least two guests; daily 1-hour bike rental for at least two guests; and daily enhanced High-Speed Internet Access (Wi-Fi). Bonvoy Elite Amenity (Gold+) also receive a daily $5 Market Credit.

The one-time departure cleaning fee is separate from the nightly resort fee. Reservations booked within a group block may be charged the resort fee specified in the group agreement.

Yes. At check-in, a flat $250 authorization will be placed on a physical credit card for incidentals, in addition to any outstanding room charges, taxes and fees. The cardholder must be present with a matching government-issued photo ID.

This is a temporary authorization rather than a completed charge. Additional authorization may be required if charges exceed $250. Any unused authorization will be released after checkout. Depending on the issuing bank, it may take 5–10 business days, or longer for some international cards, to disappear from the account.

The Residences at Snow King is cashless and accepts major credit cards only. Cash, debit cards and prepaid cards are not accepted for reservations, check-in or payment during the stay.

A different credit card may be presented at check-in for incidentals. The cardholder must be present with a matching government-issued photo ID.

When checking in, a different credit card may be used for incidentals, present with the owner of the card and a valid government issued photo ID and matching name.

We cannot accept/process debit cards (a card linked to your checking account) or pre-paid cards.

We are cashless. We only accept credit cards on this property and do not accept cash as a method of payment.

No. Daily housekeeping is not provided at The Residences at Snow King. A taxable, one-time departure cleaning fee applies to each stay:

• Parlor Suite and one-bedroom accommodations: $150
• Three-bedroom accommodations: $300

No. The Residence buildings and accommodations are not pet-friendly. Guests traveling with dogs should consider one of the designated dog-friendly guest rooms at Trailborn Jackson Hole.

Yes. Smoking is not permitted inside Residence accommodations or indoor public areas. Smoking on the property or inside an accommodation may result in a fine.

Yes. Overnight self-parking is available at The Residences at Snow King. Depending on the accommodation booked, parking may be covered or located in a designated parking area.

Valet parking is not available at Trailborn Jackson Hole.

Accessibility varies by Residence building. Some buildings are equipped with elevators, while others require stair access.

Please contact Reservations or the Front Desk before booking to request an accessible accommodation and confirm availability.

Residence guests have access to the year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub at Trailborn Jackson Hole. Access is subject to availability and operating hours.

Trailborn Jackson Hole, located adjacent to the Residences, offers Old Timer Bar & Restaurant and Mountainside Bar & Café. Hours and offerings may vary by season.

Yes. Residence guests have access to the fitness center at Trailborn Jackson Hole.

Daily local shuttle service is included for at least two guests and is subject to availability and operating hours. Service to town can be arranged by calling Reservations or speaking with the Front Desk on-site.

Transportation to other destinations, including the airport, may be available upon request. Shuttle reservations are no longer available online.

Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta and United provide year-round service to Jackson Hole Airport. Additional routes may be offered seasonally.

Nonstop routes vary by season and are subject to change. Guests should review the current route map and flight schedule on the Jackson Hole Airport website when planning their trip.
