TOWN SQUARE SHOOTOUT
Every Summer Evening at 6pm
A Wyoming tradition since 1957, the Jackson Hole Town Square Shootout, a short walk from Snow King Hotel, happens every summer evening, except Sundays – there’s no shootin’ on Sundays! Enjoy the show starting at 6pm in the town square, and don't worry about any outlaws, the Cache Creek Posse will be there to protect the women, children, and citizens of Jackson!
FREE FRIDAY STARGAZING
Fridays from 9:30pm - 11:30pm (May - September)
Thanks to Wyoming Stargazing, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Jackson Hole, the public can “explore the extraordinary in the ordinary.” Join Wyoming Stargazing on Fridays in Rendezvous Park, a 15 minute drive from Snow King Hotel, to learn more about the stars above and look through a Dobsonian telescope for a view of planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and more!
JACKSON HOLE SUMMER RODEO
May 26th - August 31st - starting at 8pm
Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season, the Jackson Hole rodeo is where the west is still wild! Steeped in tradition, you don’t want to miss watching our local cowboys and cowgirls hold on for a wild ride on a bucking bronco or brave the dangerous bull riding. The fair grounds are an easy 15 minute walk from the hotel.
WESTERN DESIGN CONFERENCE
September 6th - 9th
The Western Design Conference (WDC) brings together artists, scholars, collectors, interior designers, architects, and fashion designers with a passion for the West. From documented American craft, to home design, to fashion, the show is expanding to encompass all aspects of the best of Western design.
CENTER FOR THE ARTS

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WILDLIFE ART
Open Year-Round from 9AM to 5PM Daily
Home to more than 5,000 pieces of art, representing wildlife and artists from around the world, the National Museum of Wildlife Art is a unique treasure in Jackson Hole. Featuring work by prominent artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Andy Warhol, Robert Kuhn, and John James Audubon, the Museum is truly a must-see. View the art, dine at the resident restaurant Palate, bring your kids to the interactive children's gallery, and take in the beautiful views of the National Elk Refuge from an incredible vantage point. The Museum is a year-round, family friendly space just a short distance from downtown Jackson.
FALL ARTS FESTIVAL
September 5-16, 2018
The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival is one of the premier cultural events in the Rocky Mountain West. Nationally and internationally acclaimed artists join thousands of art enthusiasts to celebrate and experience the diverse artwork and breathtaking natural surroundings of Jackson Hole. Events include live music, exceptional cuisine, fashion show, art exhibits and sales, art walk, Jackson Hole Art Auction, and more!
TOWN SQUARE LIGHTING
November 24th, 2018
A favorite holiday event with visits from Santa Claus, holiday music, and hot chocolate. Every year locals and visitors join together in the town square for the lighting of the famous antler arches and some community holiday cheer.
SNOCROSS AT SNOW KING MOUNTAIN
Snocross will return to Jackson Hole for its second year at Snow King Mountain! An exciting fan-friendly form of snowmobile racing, Snocross combines big-air jumps and exciting action with crisp winter conditions. Athletes race on difficult tracks consisting of tight turns, banked corners, steep jumps and obstacles. An event not to miss!
SKI WITH SANTA!
December 25th, 2018
Every year Jackson Hole Mountain Resort gets a special visit on Christmas Day from Santa Claus. Santa straps on his powder skis and takes laps with the crowd!
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SNOWMOBILE HILL CLIMB

An annual event, Jackson Hole and Snow King Mountain are home to the world championship snowmobile hill climb. Racers climb 1,500 vertical feet for their chance at the championship title. A 4-day event that brings approximately 10,000 fans to Jackson Hole, this is your opportunity to see who will be crowned "King of the Hill"!
