Granite Hot Springs

Take a dip in Granite Hot Springs to have a relaxing and warm experience. Open throughout the winter season, it's the perfect place to ease sore muscles from runs down the slopes. Find it in the Gros Ventre Mountain Range. You can arrive via snowmobile or by booking a dog sled tour. Some 30 miles south of Jackson Hole and surrounded by the Gros Ventre Mountains, natural hot springs flow into a 50- by 50-foot man-made swimming pool. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, it’s a toasty, picturesque respite at 7,000 feet above sea level. If you’re heading out in winter, bear in mind that the destination can only be reached by snowmobile or skis.

Granite Hot Springs is open from 10am-8pm in the summer (May 15 - October 31) and from 10am-6pm in the winter (early December to early April).
