Ski at Grand Targhee Ski Resort
Grand Targhee Resort is a year round mountain resort situated on the Western slope of the Tetons in Alta, Wyoming. Located in the Caribou Targhee National Forest. Grand Targhee is known for its light snow (more than 500 inches annually) and lack of lift lines.
Skiers and snowboarders will find a total vertical drop of 2,270 and 5 ski lifts. Enjoy 15km of groomed Nordic ski trails, Snowcat adventures, tubing park, and plenty of onsite restaurants and shopping.

Grand Targhee is a refreshing change of pace from the other Jackson Hole ski resorts. Located over Teton Pass in nearby Alta, WY, Grand Targhee boasts 2,270 feet of total vertical drop—yet there are rarely any lift lines.
If you’d rather not get on the mountain, you can also Nordic ski along 15km of groomed trails, embark on a Snowcat, or ride the hills at their tubing park. With more than 500 inches of snow annually, you’ll be hard pressed to find a winter activity you can’t do at Grand Targhee
Grand Targhee Amenities
Lift Tickets
Ski for a full or half-day at Grand Targhee, though don’t forget that you must purchase your full-day lift ticket in advance. Half-day tickets are for sale on site. Check the Grand Targhee website for ticket prices.
Rentals
Grand Targhee has their own gear rental shop on site. Rent skis or snowboards from the performance or demo fleets. Unlike other rental outfitters, Grand Targhee also offers a ski & board lease program.

Getting to Targhee
Grand Targhee Ski Resort is located 45 miles from Snow King Resort. The START bus is a public service provided by the Town of Jackson and Teton County. The Town Shuttle operates daily. Bus tickets may be purchased on the START website. Bus tickets start at $8 per ride and are free for in town limits.
