Jazz Band

Swing at the King

Every Friday, 6pm - 9pm

Come experience Big Band Jazz in partnership with the Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole! Every Friday night, from 6pm to 9pm, join us at the hotel for a lively night of jazz and dancing. During the summer months music will play outside on the Snow King Resort pool deck, but this location is subject to change throughout the year to different locations within the resort.

Town Square Shootout

Town Square Shootout

Every Summer Evening at 6pm

A Wyoming tradition since 1957, the Jackson Hole Town Square Shootout, a short walk from Snow King Hotel, happens every summer evening, except Sundays – there’s no shootin’ on Sundays! Enjoy the show starting at 6pm in the town square, and don't worry about any outlaws, the Cache Creek Posse will be there to protect the women, children, and citizens of Jackson!

Free Friday Stargazing

Fridays from 9:30pm - 11:30pm (May - September)

Thanks to Wyoming Stargazing, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Jackson Hole, the public can “explore the extraordinary in the ordinary.” Join Wyoming Stargazing on Fridays in Rendezvous Park, a 15 minute drive from Snow King Hotel, to learn more about the stars above and look through a Dobsonian telescope for a view of planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and more!

Jackson Hole Summer Rodeo

May 26th - August 31st - starting at 8pm

Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season, the Jackson Hole rodeo is where the west is still wild! Steeped in tradition, you don’t want to miss watching our local cowboys and cowgirls hold on for a wild ride on a bucking bronco or brave the dangerous bull riding. The fair grounds are an easy 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Come celebrate this patriotic day in Jackson Hole with local events! Including an annual town square community breakfast held by the Jackson Hole Lions Club, a festive town parade celebrating Jackson Hole’s community and culture, live music in Teton Village, the Jackson Hole Rodeo, and fireworks!

Macbeth! Thin Air Shakespeare in the Park

July 6th - 8th & July 13th - 15th   Starting at 6:30pm

Bring your picnic blanket and enjoy a free live theater performance of Shakespeare's Macbeth, presented by Off Square Theater Company, beneath the beautiful Wyoming sky! This family friendly event is hosted on the lawn at the Center for the Arts. The pre-show entertainment starts at 6:30pm and includes musical artists, poetry readings, and youth performances. The main show begins at 7:30pm. Even better, stay at Snow King Resort Hotel and you are a short half mile from all the action!

National Museum of Wildlife Art

Open Year-Round from 9AM to 5PM Daily

Home to more than 5,000 pieces of art, representing wildlife and artists from around the world, the National Museum of Wildlife Art is a unique treasure in Jackson Hole. Featuring work by prominent artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Andy Warhol, Robert Kuhn, and John James Audubon, the Museum is truly a must-see. View the art, dine at the resident restaurant Palate, bring your kids to the interactive children's gallery, and take in the beautiful views of the National Elk Refuge from an incredible vantage point. The Museum is a year-round, family friendly space just a short distance from downtown Jackson.

Fall Arts Festival

September 5-16, 2018

The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival is one of the premier cultural events in the Rocky Mountain West. Nationally and internationally acclaimed artists join thousands of art enthusiasts to celebrate and experience the diverse artwork and breathtaking natural surroundings of Jackson Hole. Town Square Lighting

November 24th, 2018

A favorite holiday event with visits from Santa Claus, holiday music, and hot chocolate. Every year locals and visitors join together in the town square for the lighting of the famous antler arches and some community holiday cheer.

Every year Jackson Hole Mountain Resort gets a special visit on Christmas Day from Santa Claus. Santa straps on his powder skis and takes laps with the crowd!
