May 19-20, 2018
Showcasing the world famous Jackson Hole Boy Scout Elk Antler Auction held in the town square, ElkFest is a beloved annual Jackson Hole event. A time to celebrate nature, outdoor skills, and hunting and ecological education and awareness. Other events include the Mountain Man Rendezvous and Traders Row as well as a High Noon Chili Cook-Off.
Old West Days

Jackson Hole is the “Last of the Old West” and to celebrate the area’s rich history, every year visitors and locals alike enjoy the Old West Days. Enjoy live music, town square parade, the Jackson Hole Shootout, Old West Brewfest, arts, crafts, local food, rodeo events, and more!
Town Square Shootout
Every Summer Evening at 6pm
A Wyoming tradition since 1957, the Jackson Hole Town Square Shootout happens every summer evening, except Sundays – there’s no shootin’ on Sundays! Enjoy the show starting at 6pm in the town square, and don't worry about any outlaws, the Cache Creek Posse will be there to protect the women, children, and citizens of Jackson!
Free Friday Stargazing
Fridays from 9:30pm - 11:30pm (May - September)
Thanks to Wyoming Stargazing, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Jackson Hole, the public can “explore the extraordinary in the ordinary.” Join Wyoming Stargazing on Fridays in Rendezvous Park to learn more about the stars above and look through a Dobsonian telescope for a view of planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and more!
Jackson Hole Summer Rodeo
May 26th - August 31st - starting at 8pm
Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season, the Jackson Hole rodeo is where the west is still wild! Steeped in tradition, you don’t want to miss watching our local cowboys and cowgirls hold on for a wild ride on a bucking bronco or brave the dangerous bull riding.
Fourth of July Events
Come celebrate this patriotic day in Jackson Hole with local events! Including an annual town square community breakfast held by the Jackson Hole Lions Club, a festive town parade celebrating Jackson Hole’s community and culture, live music in Teton Village, the Jackson Hole Rodeo, and fireworks!
Fall Arts Festival

The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival is one of the premier cultural events in the Rocky Mountain West. Nationally and internationally acclaimed artists join thousands of art enthusiasts to celebrate and experience the diverse artwork and breathtaking natural surroundings of Jackson Hole. Events include live music, exceptional cuisine, fashion show, art exhibits and sales, art walk, Jackson Hole Art Auction, and more!
Town Square Lighting
November 24th, 2018
A favorite holiday event with visits from Santa Claus, holiday music, and hot chocolate. Every year locals and visitors join together in the town square for the lighting of the famous antler arches and some community holiday cheer.

Every year Jackson Hole Mountain Resort gets a special visit on Christmas Day from Santa Claus. Santa straps on his powder skis and takes laps with the crowd!
