Haydens Post prides itself on locally-sourced ingredients, so it was natural to tap long-time Jackson resident Michael Gallivan as the Executive Chef. He's lived, breathed, cross-country skied, snowmobiled, fished, camped, and cooked in the Tetons as far back as 1976. Gallivan skipped town to graduate from New York's Culinary Institute of America in 1979, and refine his craft in the east's finest, but never lost his tip-of-the-hat taste. In 1991, he and his wife moved west, and raised three sons Jackson-right, starting with home-made baby food. Gallivan's scratch recipes and local knowledge will make you feel right at home, too.
